How to Write a Job Clincher Resume

What is a resume?

A resume is a brief, written account of your professional history and qualifications. It includes information about your career goals, education, work experience, activities, honors, and any special skills you might have.

Keys to writing a winning resume

There is only one secret to writing resumes successfully. The bible says, “Write the vision, and make it plain on the tablets, that he who reads it may run.” (Habakkuk 2:2 MKJ). What you want to write is a resume that makes decisions makers run to the telephone to call you. You see, you may have had the same professional qualifications as your colleges, but what differentiates you at first glance is how well you resume has been written. Remember the first impression carries 90% credits in a job interview.

A winning resume should depict that the resume owner is an achiever. The world out there hates failures and they cling to successful people. Successful people have more friends. Hence a resume written using the right words and phrases will get more job interview invitations.

Great article, as someone who sees resumes all the time i'd suggest that on the first page you place a summary of your experience. This gives a recruiter a snapshot who you are in 30 seconds.

It's tough out there.
